Alan M. Sowell

Alan M. Sowell is a partner in this firm, and has been in practice since 1985. Mr. Sowell received a B.A. Degree in business administration and political science from Vanderbilt University in 1982. He also received a J.D. Degree from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in 1985.

Mr. Sowell has a litigation practice involving insurance defense and coverage, transportation litigation, and worker's compensation. He is a member of the Nashville Bar Association and Tennessee Bar Association. He is a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation. He is also a member of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. Additionally, Mr. Sowell is a member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association. This is the only organization devoted exclusively to the defense of the trucking industry.

He is married to Elizabeth Sowell and has three daughters.
